Bonjoro: Thank You Videos vs Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builderfor Shopify (2026)
Bonjoro: Thank You Videos and Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builder both aim to enhance customer loyalty, but they employ vastly different strategies. Bonjoro focuses on personalized video communication, allowing merchants to send thank-you videos directly to customers' inboxes. This approach aims to build a personal connection and foster word-of-mouth marketing. Shopney, on the other hand, offers a mobile app builder, allowing merchants to create native iOS and Android apps for their Shopify stores. This aims to provide a smoother, faster shopping experience, increase retention through push notifications, and reduce reliance on expensive social media ads. The target audience and technical requirements also differ significantly. Bonjoro is suitable for merchants of any size who want to add a personal touch to their customer interactions. Its ease of use and mobile apps make it accessible to those with limited technical skills. Shopney is geared toward merchants looking for a scalable solution to improve mobile conversion rates and reduce advertising costs. While it boasts a no-code approach, effectively managing and marketing a mobile app requires a higher level of commitment and potentially more technical expertise.
