Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with generating blog content and automating their content marketing efforts, BlogSEO: AI Blog & AI SEO App could be a suitable option, but the very low rating and limited reviews are concerning. Merchants should carefully consider the potential drawbacks. Tiny SEO Speed Image Optimizer is a better choice for merchants who prioritize improving their site speed, optimizing images, and managing the technical aspects of SEO. Its high rating and large number of reviews strongly suggest a reliable and effective solution.
Given the significant difference in ratings and reviews, Tiny SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the safer recommendation for most merchants. BlogSEO should be considered cautiously, and only if the merchant's primary need is AI-driven blog creation and they are willing to accept potential issues and limited support.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for someone new to SEO?
Tiny SEO Speed Image Optimizer is likely easier for beginners, focusing on technical SEO aspects with potentially more straightforward configuration. BlogSEO's AI content creation might require more expertise to effectively guide and review.
Which app is better for improving Google rankings?
Both apps contribute to improved rankings. Tiny SEO Speed Image Optimizer directly improves page speed and technical SEO, which are ranking factors. BlogSEO indirectly improves rankings by creating more content that targets relevant keywords, though the quality of the AI generated content needs to be carefully checked.
Does BlogSEO optimize images like Tiny SEO Speed Image Optimizer?
BlogSEO includes an AI cover image generator, but the description doesn't mention comprehensive image optimization features like compression or ALT text optimization, which are strengths of Tiny SEO Speed Image Optimizer.
If I only need one app, which one should I choose?
Tiny SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the better starting point for most Shopify stores. Page speed and basic technical SEO are fundamental, whereas blog content can be developed separately. After addressing the core technical SEO, you can then consider BlogSEO for content automation assuming the issues reflected in its rating have been addressed.
How do the apps handle keyword research?
BlogSEO specifically highlights AI-assisted keyword research, suggesting this is a core feature. While Tiny SEO Speed Image Optimizer helps with SEO, its description doesn't emphasize keyword research as a primary functionality.
