Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to actively promote offers and updates through visually engaging banners, BL Scrolling Announcement Bar is the better choice. Its focus on customization and animation can help drive sales and improve customer awareness. However, for merchants operating in regions with strict data privacy regulations like GDPR or CCPA, TinyCookie GDPR Cookies Banner is essential. It provides a straightforward and customizable solution for obtaining user consent and ensuring legal compliance. The low review count on BL Scrolling Announcement Bar compared to TinyCookie suggests the latter addresses a broader and potentially more urgent need.
