Beae Landing Page Builder vs OT Section: Theme Sectionsfor Shopify (2026)
Beae Landing Page Builder and OT Section: Theme Sections both aim to enhance Shopify storefronts, but they take different approaches. Beae positions itself as a conversion rate optimization (CRO) tool centered around A/B testing and a robust page builder. Its strength lies in its comprehensive feature set, including A/B testing, a design library, and CRO-focused elements like countdown timers. Beae appears tailored for merchants focused on data-driven optimization and maximizing sales through continuous testing. The higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews suggests greater user satisfaction and adoption, although it's difficult to directly compare without deeper usage data. OT Section: Theme Sections, on the other hand, focuses on expanding design possibilities directly within the Shopify Theme Editor. Its key strength is the vast library of 200+ pre-designed theme sections, templates, and blocks. This approach offers a more seamless integration with existing themes, allowing for quicker and easier customization without extensive coding. OT Section targets merchants who prioritize visual appeal and need diverse design options without relying heavily on external page builders. The emphasis on 'lightning fast' sections suggests it is concerned about site speed concerns that come with adding too many external apps.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing data-driven optimization and A/B testing, Beae Landing Page Builder is the stronger choice. The robust page builder, A/B testing capabilities, and CRO-focused features provide the tools to continuously improve conversion rates. The higher rating and larger review base suggest a more mature and reliable product.
However, for merchants who primarily need a broader range of design options and want to work directly within the Shopify Theme Editor, OT Section: Theme Sections is the better fit. The vast library of theme sections allows for quick and easy customization without the need for a separate page builder. This approach is ideal for merchants who prioritize visual appeal and want to maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across their store. It also mitigates the risk of adding another app that could slow down the store.
Common Questions
Which app is better for A/B testing?
Beae Landing Page Builder explicitly offers A/B testing features, allowing you to test different page designs and layouts to optimize conversions. OT Section: Theme Sections does not mention A/B testing capabilities.
Which app is easier to use for beginners?
OT Section: Theme Sections is likely easier for beginners, as it integrates directly with the Shopify Theme Editor. This allows users to leverage their existing knowledge of the Shopify interface. Beae Landing Page Builder requires learning a new page builder interface.
Which app is more likely to slow down my store?
While both apps claim to be optimized for speed, OT Section: Theme Sections' emphasis on replacing slower apps and using lightweight theme sections suggests it's more concerned with page load times. Beae may have a greater impact on page speed due to its more extensive page builder functionality, particularly if pages become complex and bloated.
Which app offers a wider range of design options?
OT Section: Theme Sections boasts 200+ theme sections, templates, and blocks. This provides a wider range of design options compared to Beae Landing Page Builder, which offers a 'design library' without specifying the number of templates.
Which app is better for creating completely custom page layouts?
Beae Landing Page Builder, with its dedicated page builder functionality, is better for creating completely custom page layouts. OT Section: Theme Sections relies on pre-designed sections and templates within the Theme Editor, limiting the degree of customizability.
