Back in Stock,Pre Order,Alerts vs Preorder, Back In Stock ‑ STOQfor Shopify (2026)
Back in Stock,Pre Order,Alerts (NotifyPro) and Preorder, Back In Stock ‑ STOQ are Shopify apps designed to help merchants recover lost sales from out-of-stock items. Both offer back-in-stock notifications and pre-order functionality. However, STOQ appears to be a more mature and feature-rich solution. It boasts significantly more user reviews and explicitly supports partial payments and B2B preorders, features absent from NotifyPro's description. NotifyPro focuses more heavily on AI-based interest alerts and detailed analytics of notification performance, which could be appealing to merchants focused on hyper-personalization and data-driven optimization of alerts.

Our Verdict
Preorder, Back In Stock - STOQ is the superior option for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its substantially higher review count (2132 vs 30) and perfect rating suggest greater user satisfaction and reliability. Its support for partial payments, B2B preorders, and Klaviyo sync provide a more robust and integrated solution. However, Back in Stock,Pre Order,Alerts (NotifyPro) might be preferable for merchants specifically prioritizing AI-driven interest-based alerts and a deeper focus on analyzing notification performance, although the low number of reviews is a concern.
