Our Verdict
For merchants selling audio products, AWPlayer is the clear choice. It provides the specific functionality needed to showcase and sell audio tracks effectively. However, the extremely low review count should raise concerns. Essential Trust Badges & Icons, with its overwhelmingly positive reviews and focus on building trust, is a valuable addition to virtually any Shopify store, especially new stores that are trying to build a good reputation, and stores selling potentially sensitive products.
Given the significant difference in ratings and review volume, Essential Trust Badges & Icons appears to be the more reliable and well-received app overall for the majority of Shopify merchants. Even if a store also sells audio, Essential Trust Badges & Icons would provide a basic building block for sales that AWPlayer alone could not.
