AW Store Locator vs Task Sync | Mange tasksfor Shopify (2026)
AW Store Locator and Task Sync | Mange tasks are both Shopify apps positioned for merchants involved in 'Selling in person', but they address entirely different needs. AW Store Locator focuses on helping businesses with physical store locations, offering features to display and manage these locations on their Shopify website. It caters to merchants with brick-and-mortar stores or dealers looking to improve customer discovery and drive in-person traffic. In contrast, Task Sync | Mange tasks targets all Shopify merchants seeking to improve internal task management and team collaboration, offering tools to organize tasks, set deadlines, and track progress. Our Verdict
The choice between AW Store Locator and Task Sync | Mange tasks depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If the merchant has one or more physical store locations and wants to make it easy for customers to find them, AW Store Locator is the obvious choice. The positive reviews and focus on store location functionality give it a clear advantage. However, if the merchant is primarily focused on internal operations, team collaboration, and task management, Task Sync | Mange tasks may be relevant, assuming it overcomes its current lack of reviews and establishes a positive reputation. However, the complete absence of reviews makes it a risky choice compared to established task management solutions. It's advisable to research alternative task management apps with positive ratings before considering Task Sync.
