AW Store Locator vs POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricingfor Shopify (2026)
AW Store Locator and POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricing are Shopify apps that address very different needs, despite sharing the 'Selling in person' category. AW Store Locator focuses on enhancing the customer experience by helping them find physical store locations. It emphasizes customizability, ease of use, and automatic location detection. The app targets merchants with multiple store locations or dealer networks who want to improve their online presence and drive in-store traffic. POS2B, on the other hand, is specifically designed for Shopify Plus merchants who sell to B2B customers and want to apply B2B catalog pricing within their physical stores using Shopify POS. The fundamental difference lies in their target audiences and functionalities. AW Store Locator serves a broad range of merchants seeking to improve their store locators, while POS2B caters exclusively to Shopify Plus merchants with established B2B operations. One app focuses on enhancing the customer's journey to a store, while the other focuses on streamlining the pricing experience within a store. Because they solve vastly different problems, choosing the correct app relies heavily on whether the merchant runs a B2B or B2C business model and whether they are Shopify Plus subscribers.

Our Verdict
The choice between AW Store Locator and POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricing is straightforward based on business type. If you are a standard Shopify merchant (not Shopify Plus) or if your business relies on attracting customers to physical store locations, AW Store Locator is the clear winner. It provides a user-friendly and customizable solution to help customers find your stores. The higher rating and review count also suggest a more established and reliable app.
However, if you are a Shopify Plus merchant specifically serving B2B customers and using Shopify's B2B Catalog feature, POS2B is the only viable option. Its sole purpose is to integrate B2B pricing into your physical store's POS system. Given the dependency on Shopify Plus and B2B Catalogs, it's irrelevant for the majority of Shopify merchants.
