Avis Product Options, Variants vs QuickStick: Cart & Buy Nowfor Shopify (2026)
Avis Product Options, Variants and QuickStick: Cart & Buy Now, while both receiving perfect 5/5 ratings, cater to very different needs of Shopify merchants. Avis Product Options focuses on enhancing the product page itself by allowing for complex product customization and variant options. This likely includes things like color swatches, text fields, and potentially conditional logic to create tailored product offerings for customers. QuickStick, on the other hand, concentrates on streamlining the purchase process by providing a persistent and customizable 'Add to Cart' and 'Buy Now' button, designed to increase conversion rates by making these actions readily accessible throughout the customer's browsing experience. Given their descriptions, Avis Product Options is best suited for merchants with products requiring customization or complex variations. Think personalized gifts, apparel with multiple sizing options, or anything where the customer needs to make specific choices before adding the product to their cart. QuickStick is more targeted towards merchants selling products with simpler variations (or no variations at all) who are primarily focused on improving their conversion rate and making the checkout process as seamless as possible. While both fall under the broader 'Custom products - Other' category in Shopify, they solve distinct problems at different stages of the customer journey.

Our Verdict
For merchants with complex product variations or personalization requirements, Avis Product Options, Variants is the clear choice. The extensive feature set likely provides the necessary tools to offer a wide range of customization options to customers. The large number of reviews (1366) also suggests a mature app with a proven track record, even if review count does not directly indicate quality.
On the other hand, QuickStick: Cart & Buy Now is ideally suited for merchants with simpler product catalogs who want a quick and easy way to boost conversions. While the significantly lower number of reviews (2) might be a concern, the focused functionality and emphasis on ease of use could make it a worthwhile option for those specifically seeking a sticky add-to-cart button solution. Consider a thorough trial period to ensure it integrates seamlessly with your specific theme and checkout process.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on their descriptions, QuickStick: Cart & Buy Now is likely easier to set up due to its singular focus on a sticky 'Add to Cart' button. Avis Product Options, Variants, with its broader range of features for product customization, will likely require more configuration.
Which app is better for increasing average order value?
Avis Product Options, Variants potentially has a higher impact on average order value because the ability to offer more product variations and customizations could lead customers to add more items or higher-priced options to their cart. QuickStick primarily focuses on converting existing interest into a sale, rather than directly influencing the value of that sale.
What if I need both product options and a sticky cart button?
You may need to explore using both apps in conjunction, or consider searching for an app that combines both functionalities. Compatibility should be carefully tested to avoid conflicts between the apps.
Is the high rating of Avis Product Options, Variants a guarantee of quality?
While a 5/5 rating with a large number of reviews is generally a positive indicator, it's not a guarantee. Different merchants have different needs, and an app that works well for one merchant might not be suitable for another. Read recent reviews carefully and consider a trial period to assess suitability.
Should I be concerned about the low review count for QuickStick: Cart & Buy Now?
The low review count is a factor to consider. It could indicate that the app is new, niche, or simply hasn't been widely adopted yet. Thoroughly test the app before committing and monitor its performance closely. Consider contacting the developer with any concerns.
