Avis Product Options, Variants vs Boostify Size Chartsfor Shopify (2026)
Avis Product Options, Variants and Boostify Size Charts, while sharing the 'Product variants' category on Shopify, address very different needs. Avis focuses on extending product variations offered to customers, allowing for greater customization and a potentially richer shopping experience. Its 5/5 rating from over 1300 reviews suggests strong satisfaction with its core functionality. Boostify Size Charts, on the other hand, concentrates specifically on improving the fit and sizing experience, aiming to reduce returns and build customer confidence, especially vital for apparel and footwear retailers. The key difference lies in their purpose: Avis empowers product customization, while Boostify tackles sizing issues. The lack of ratings and reviews for Boostify indicates it may be a newer app or less widely adopted than Avis, potentially pointing to untested reliability. Boostify targets merchants needing to present detailed sizing guides, especially those selling clothing, shoes, or accessories. Avis likely serves a broader range of e-commerce stores needing advanced product option management capabilities.

Our Verdict
For merchants requiring robust product option management and advanced customization features, Avis Product Options, Variants, is the clear choice given its high rating and numerous reviews. Its established presence suggests reliability and effectiveness. However, if the primary need is to improve the sizing experience and reduce returns, Boostify Size Charts offers a targeted solution.
While the lack of reviews is a concern, Boostify's focus on visual size charts, unit conversions, and integration with Shopify themes could make it a worthwhile option for apparel and footwear businesses. New stores especially could find benefit in Boostify's simple approach. Larger established stores might benefit from the larger user base and feature maturity of Avis if the need for advanced variant configuration is high, rather than just size charts.
