Avada Order Limit Quantity MOQ vs BMT B2B Wholesale Pricingfor Shopify (2026)
Avada Order Limit Quantity MOQ and BMT B2B Wholesale Pricing both cater to Shopify merchants involved in wholesale, but they approach the problem from different angles. Avada focuses primarily on controlling order quantities using minimums, maximums, and other rule-based validations, aiming to prevent fraud, manage bulk purchases, and enforce MOQs. It is designed to be user-friendly, requiring no code. BMT, on the other hand, is geared towards transforming a Shopify store into a full-fledged B2B hub, with features like wholesale pricing tiers, customer registration forms, and personalized experiences tailored for different buyer types. The key difference lies in the scope of functionality. Avada provides granular control over order quantities, making it suitable for stores that need to manage inventory or prevent specific order behaviors. BMT offers a more comprehensive B2B solution, covering pricing, customer management, and order processing, which is a better fit for stores looking to establish and manage a robust wholesale channel. While Avada mentions customer tags related to wholesale, BMT dedicates itself to the B2B experience from customer registration to tiered pricing.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with setting minimum or maximum order quantities, preventing fraud, or enforcing specific order rules based on quantity, value, or customer tags, Avada Order Limit Quantity MOQ is the better choice. Its ease of use and focus on quantity control make it a straightforward solution for these needs.
However, for merchants looking to build a comprehensive B2B wholesale program, including features like tiered pricing, customer registration, and customized experiences, BMT B2B Wholesale Pricing is the superior option. While it may require more configuration, its feature set is specifically designed to support a fully functional B2B operation. The large difference in reviews (175 vs 2) may also indicate a more established product and community support for Avada, but BMT may be a newer solution. A savvy Shopify merchant will investigate the age of the two apps and the frequency of their updates before making a decision.
