Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges vs Mega Highlights Menufor Shopify (2026)
Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges and Mega Highlights Menu, while both categorized under 'Design elements' and 'Badges and icons' on Shopify, serve vastly different purposes for e-commerce merchants. Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges focuses on increasing sales and trust through social proof, urgency tactics, and visual reassurance. It aims to convert browsers into buyers by displaying sales notifications, trust badges, and free shipping bars. The app boasts a high rating backed by a large number of reviews, suggesting established reliability and widespread use. In contrast, Mega Highlights Menu concentrates on enhancing website navigation and visual appeal through an interactive, story-style menu system, mirroring user experiences on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Mega Highlights Menu aims to reduce bounce rates and improve conversion by providing a familiar and engaging menu experience. Instead of traditional text-based menus, it allows merchants to create menus with icons, pictures, and GIFs. The disparity in review numbers (1627 vs. 1) is significant, indicating that Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges has a much longer track record and significantly more user feedback. The choice between these apps depends heavily on a merchant's priorities: boosting sales through social proof versus improving navigation and user engagement through a visually compelling menu.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on immediate sales uplift and leveraging social proof, Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges is the stronger choice. Its established user base, demonstrated by the high number of reviews, and its direct focus on conversion-driving features like trust badges and sales notifications, make it a compelling option. However, for merchants aiming to create a more modern, visually engaging storefront and improve navigation, particularly those targeting a younger demographic familiar with social media stories, Mega Highlights Menu offers a unique approach.
The significant difference in the number of reviews suggests a higher risk in choosing Mega Highlights Menu, but it could be a worthwhile investment for stores prioritizing visual branding and novel user experiences. Stores looking to quickly A/B test sales tactics would find Avada a quicker fit, while stores with longer-term brand building goals might consider Mega Highlights Menu more.
