Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges and COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify both boast a perfect 5/5 rating on the Shopify App Store in 2026, but cater to distinct needs. Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges focuses on increasing sales conversion through trust building elements like trust badges, sales popups, and free shipping bars. It's a comprehensive solution for merchants looking to improve customer confidence and create a sense of urgency to drive immediate purchases. The app aims to turn browsers into buyers by leveraging social proof and incentivizing higher order values. COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify, on the other hand, directly tackles the issue of failed Cash-on-Delivery (COD) orders. It's targeted towards merchants, particularly in regions like India and Egypt, where COD is prevalent and where RTO rates are high. The app aims to filter out unserious buyers and convert COD orders to prepaid, ultimately boosting profit margins.

Our Verdict
For merchants focused on optimizing their overall store conversion rates by building trust and creating urgency, Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges is the more suitable choice. Its features are geared towards enhancing the shopping experience and motivating purchases. However, for merchants primarily struggling with high RTO/RTS costs associated with COD orders, especially in regions where COD is common, COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify is the clear winner. Its targeted features directly address the problem of fraudulent COD orders and aim to convert them into more secure prepaid transactions.
In short, if you need a general sales boost, go with Avada. If you're bleeding money on COD, go with COD King.
