Our Verdict
For merchants interested in offering a wide variety of products and automating most aspects of dropshipping, including product sourcing and order fulfillment, Auto DS: AI Dropshipping & POD is the better choice. The large number of reviews suggests a robust user base and significant experience in the market. However, merchants specifically looking to offer custom-designed print-on-demand products and seeking fast turnaround times and high profit margins should opt for Podbase: Print on Demand. While it has fewer reviews, the perfect rating indicates strong user satisfaction within its niche.
If product diversity and automation are primary goals, Auto DS takes the lead. If customizability and high margins on niche products are more important, Podbase is the better fit.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for beginners?
Both apps aim for ease of use. Auto DS offers extensive automation and a learning academy which makes it easier to get into dropshipping. Podbase offers an easy-to-use product designer, simplifying the design process. The easier choice depends on the merchant's priorities - general dropshipping or custom product design.
Which app offers better profit margins?
Podbase explicitly claims to maximize earnings with one of the highest profit margins in the market. Auto DS does not specifically mention profit margins, so Podbase likely offers better potential profit in its niche.
Which app has faster shipping?
Podbase highlights its 24-hour printing and quick delivery, suggesting faster turnaround times for POD products compared to Auto DS's broader, but less specific, 'fast shipping' claim from US & EU suppliers. It depends on the supplier AutoDS utilizes, but Podbase's production is internal making it quicker.
Which app offers more product variety?
Auto DS, by sourcing from various US & EU suppliers, likely offers a much broader range of product categories compared to Podbase's focus on print-on-demand accessories like phone cases and covers.
Which app is better for building a branded store?
While both allow for branding to some extent, Auto DS explicitly mentions 'custom branding' as a key feature, suggesting more advanced branding options compared to Podbase, though Podbase's custom product design also contributes to unique brand identity.
