Atelier | Private Sales vs Logik‑ Product Configurationfor Shopify (2026)
Atelier | Private Sales and Logik‑ Product Configuration, while sharing the 'Selling online - Other' category on Shopify, address vastly different e-commerce needs. Atelier focuses on creating exclusive, invite-only shopping experiences such as private sales, VIP events, and product drops. It empowers merchants to easily launch branded capsule stores with password protection or email whitelisting, without requiring any coding. Atelier's strength lies in its simplicity and targeted approach to creating exclusivity. In contrast, Logik‑ Product Configuration offers a sophisticated CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) engine geared towards complex product configurations, guided product discovery, and AI-powered product recommendations. It is designed for both B2C and B2B businesses aiming to simplify the selling of complex products across various digital channels. Logik's strength is in its advanced functionality and ability to handle intricate product logic and personalization. The primary distinction lies in their target audience and functionality. Atelier caters to merchants seeking a straightforward way to reward loyal customers with exclusive access and drive sales through limited-time offers. It provides tools to showcase hidden collections and customize the storefronts. Logik, on the other hand, targets businesses with intricate product lines that necessitate advanced configuration, attribute-based customization, and guided selling experiences. The app is built around an advanced logic engine that processes relevant rules, as well as headless extensibility and composability. The choice between the two hinges on the complexity of the product offering and the desired shopping experience.

Our Verdict
For merchants aiming to cultivate customer loyalty and drive sales through exclusive events and limited-time offers, Atelier | Private Sales is the superior choice. Its ease of use and focus on creating branded private sales make it a practical solution. However, businesses dealing with complex, configurable products that require guided selling experiences and personalized recommendations will find Logik‑ Product Configuration a more valuable asset. Logik's advanced engine and AI-powered features offer a level of customization and sophistication that Atelier cannot match. While Logik currently has no reviews, its feature set strongly suggests it caters to a very specific, demanding segment of the Shopify market where configuration is paramount.
