Our Verdict
The choice between AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro and Reputon eBay Importer depends entirely on your business model. If you are focused on expanding your reach through Google Shopping and need robust tools for managing product feeds across multiple countries and languages, AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro is the clear choice. Its advanced mapping features and support for local inventory make it ideal for businesses with complex international operations.
However, if you are primarily sourcing products from eBay, particularly for dropshipping or affiliate marketing, Reputon eBay Importer is the more suitable option. Its ease of use, automated synchronization, and focus on importing eBay listings make it a time-saving tool for quickly populating your store with products. While both have a 5/5 rating, the higher number of reviews suggests AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro might be more established, but Reputon is clearly effective for its niche.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for beginners?
Reputon eBay Importer is likely easier for beginners as it focuses on a straightforward task: importing products from eBay. AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro involves a deeper understanding of Google Shopping feeds and optimization techniques.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Potentially, but it is unlikely to be beneficial. If you import items from eBay with Reputon, then you could use AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro to advertise the eBay items through Google Shopping. It is more likely that you would source all of your items in the same manner.
Does AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro support Facebook ads?
While it primarily focuses on Google Shopping, the app description suggests it 'Use[s] XML for ... Meta/Facebook + feeds for other platforms and marketplaces', indicating indirect support through XML feed generation.
What kind of support do the apps offer?
AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro explicitly states it only provides support for Google Shopping issues. Reputon eBay Importer's support is not specified beyond general functionality, but can be inferred to relate to eBay integration and product import.
Are there any potential limitations to the 'limited access to Protected Customer Data' by Reputon eBay Importer?
Potentially. The 'Limited access to Protected Customer Data' mention warrants caution. Merchants should investigate exactly what data is accessed and for what purpose, to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and platform terms of service. It is likely accessing data to check product availability, but further investigation is recommended.
