AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer vs Panton Amazon Importerfor Shopify (2026)
AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer and Panton Amazon Importer serve distinct purposes within the store data importer category on Shopify. AppsByB is designed for merchants migrating *from* WooCommerce *to* Shopify. Its strength lies in its comprehensive data migration capabilities, including products, orders, customers, and SEO preservation through URL redirects. The availability of a demo migration allows merchants to thoroughly test the process before committing fully, mitigating risk. Panton Amazon Importer, conversely, caters to merchants aiming to *sell products from* Amazon *on* their Shopify store, particularly through dropshipping. Its focus is on ease of use and rapid product population, allowing for quick addition of single or bulk products, including titles, descriptions, images, and variants. The bulk import feature via CSV or URLs significantly speeds up the process, making it suitable for quickly testing new niches or building out collections. Both apps automate data import, but from vastly different sources with different goals and merchant profiles in mind. AppsByB emphasizes data integrity and SEO for migration; Panton prioritizes rapid product population for sales.

Our Verdict
Choosing between AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer and Panton Amazon Importer hinges entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant is moving their store from WooCommerce to Shopify and wants to retain their SEO rankings and historical data, AppsByB is the clear choice. The demo migration provides added confidence and reduces the risk associated with platform migration.
However, if a merchant is looking to expand their product catalog by sourcing from Amazon, particularly through dropshipping, Panton Amazon Importer is the better option. Its focus on rapid product import and bulk management makes it well-suited for quickly adding new products and testing different niches. While the rating and review count are significantly lower, the app's feature set directly addresses the needs of Amazon dropshippers.
