Appointment Booking App Apntly vs SellKite Digital Downloadsfor Shopify (2026)
Appointment Booking App Apntly and SellKite Digital Downloads, while both being Shopify apps, cater to vastly different needs within the e-commerce landscape. Apntly focuses on scheduling and appointment management, enabling merchants to convert physical products or services into bookable offerings. It boasts comprehensive features like calendar integrations, team member support, and automated Zoom integration, aimed at streamlining the booking process for services like consultations, classes, or events. Its high rating and large number of reviews indicate a well-established and trusted platform for appointment scheduling. In contrast, SellKite Digital Downloads is purpose-built for merchants looking to sell digital products such as e-books, music, software, or license keys. Its strength lies in its simplicity and ability to seamlessly attach digital files to products, manage orders, and implement download limits. While it shares a perfect 5/5 rating with Apntly, the significantly lower number of reviews suggests it's a newer or less widely adopted app. SellKite's focus is on secure delivery and management of digital assets, making it suitable for businesses centered around digital content distribution.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Appointment Booking App Apntly and SellKite Digital Downloads depends entirely on your business model. If you're selling services that require appointments or bookings (e.g., a hair salon, a tutoring service, or a yoga studio), Apntly is the clear choice. Its robust features and established user base make it a reliable solution for managing schedules and customer interactions.
However, if your primary focus is selling digital products, SellKite Digital Downloads is the more appropriate option. While it may have fewer reviews, its specialization in digital asset management, secure delivery, and license key generation makes it a tailored solution for that specific need. A merchant wouldn't use Apntly to deliver a PDF ebook, nor would they use SellKite to schedule a consultation.
Common Questions
Can Appointment Booking App Apntly sell digital products like ebooks?
