Appointment Booking App Apntly vs LinkIT ‑ Sell Digital Productsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, choosing between Appointment Booking App Apntly and LinkIT - Sell Digital Products hinges on the merchant's business model. Apntly focuses on appointment scheduling for services or events, functioning like Calendly for Shopify products. It boasts robust features for managing staff, integrating with calendars and Zoom, and handling bookings, cancellations, and deposits. LinkIT, on the other hand, is designed for selling digital assets hosted on platforms like Google Drive and YouTube. It simplifies the process of delivering digital content by linking directly to existing files and allows for email customization. While both apps share the 'Digital products' category on Shopify, their functionalities and target audiences are distinctly different. Apntly is geared towards businesses offering time-based services requiring scheduling, such as consultations, classes, or rentals. Its strength lies in its comprehensive appointment management features. Conversely, LinkIT caters to merchants who want to easily sell digital products without managing complex scheduling. Its value proposition is simplicity and integration with common file hosting services. The vast disparity in review counts (1170 for Apntly versus 1 for LinkIT) suggests a significant difference in user base and market adoption, though both apps have perfect ratings.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing appointment scheduling with team member support and calendar integrations, Appointment Booking App Apntly is the clear choice. Its feature set directly addresses the needs of businesses offering services or events that require bookings. The high review count also indicates a more mature and widely adopted app.
However, if the goal is to sell digital products already hosted on services like Google Drive or YouTube with minimal setup, LinkIT is a more straightforward solution. Its simplicity and focus on digital asset delivery make it suitable for creators and businesses who want to monetize their existing content quickly. Despite the low review count, it may serve as the best solution for simple digital product sales. Appntly would be overkill for a store simply selling an ebook.
