AOV Bundles Volume Discounts vs C Builder | Checkout Upsells!for Shopify (2026)
AOV Bundles Volume Discounts and C Builder | Checkout Upsells! both aim to increase Average Order Value (AOV) through different strategies. AOV Bundles focuses on pre-purchase bundling and volume discounts within the main shopping experience, offering various bundle types like fixed sets, mix-and-match options, and AI-powered recommendations for 'Frequently Bought Together' products. This app targets a broader range of Shopify merchants looking to boost AOV through strategic product combinations and incentivized purchasing. C Builder, on the other hand, concentrates solely on optimizing the checkout and thank you/order status pages. Built specifically for Shopify Plus merchants leveraging Checkout Extensibility, C Builder allows for highly customized checkout flows using drag-and-drop blocks. It excels at implementing upsells, cross-sells, and conditional logic directly within the checkout process. Therefore, its strength lies in refining the final stages of the customer journey, appealing to larger merchants who require advanced checkout customization capabilities. A significant distinction is C Builder's reliance on Shopify Checkout Extensibility, limiting its use to Plus merchants.
