AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer vs Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawerfor Shopify (2026)
Both AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer offer Shopify merchants cart customization options, holding a perfect 5/5 rating. AMP has a slight edge in the number of reviews (489 vs 406), suggesting wider adoption or a longer presence in the app store. However, Opus positions itself as a more comprehensive solution for increasing Average Order Value (AOV) and conversions through features like upsells, cross-sells, free gifts, and abandoned cart recovery, going far beyond simple cart customization. This makes Opus aimed at merchants actively looking to optimize their cart experience for revenue generation. The core difference lies in their scope. AMP likely focuses on the fundamental cart drawer functionality, offering a streamlined user experience. In contrast, Opus provides a suite of features designed to actively influence purchasing decisions and recover lost sales. Merchants primarily looking for a simple, visually appealing cart drawer experience might lean towards AMP. Those actively seeking to leverage their cart as a sales and marketing tool with advanced upsell and conversion optimization capabilities will find Opus more aligned with their needs.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a straightforward and aesthetically pleasing cart drawer without extensive upselling capabilities, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer may be the better choice, presuming its focus aligns with a clean, user-friendly experience. Its higher review count suggests a well-established user base. However, for businesses aggressively pursuing AOV growth and conversion optimization through cart-based marketing, Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer is the clear winner. Its rich feature set of upsells, cross-sells, free gifts, and abandoned cart recovery tools provides a comprehensive platform for revenue generation.
Choosing between the two hinges on the specific goals of the merchant. A smaller business might find AMP sufficient, while a larger, more established business will likely benefit from the enhanced functionalities of Opus. Consider your marketing strategy and willingness to actively manage and optimize cart-based promotions when making your decision.
