AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer vs MultiVariants ‑ Bulk Orderfor Shopify (2026)
Both AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and MultiVariants ‑ Bulk Order are highly rated Shopify apps with 5/5 stars, indicating generally positive user experiences. However, their functionalities and target audiences differ significantly. AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer, judging from its name, likely focuses on enhancing the cart experience with a slide-out cart drawer, potentially improving the user interface and streamlining the checkout process. This app is likely targeted towards merchants looking to optimize their store's usability and conversion rates by offering a more engaging and convenient cart experience. The higher number of reviews (489) also suggests wider adoption and potentially a longer presence in the Shopify app store. MultiVariants ‑ Bulk Order, conversely, targets merchants who need to facilitate bulk ordering, likely catering to B2B sales or retailers dealing with customers who purchase large quantities of products. MultiVariants - Bulk Order probably focuses on streamlining the order process for customers buying multiple variants or large quantities, which AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer doesn't likely address. The lower review count (306) might indicate a more niche audience or potentially a newer entry to the market. While both apps share the 'Checkout' category, their approaches to improving the checkout experience are fundamentally different. One aims for UX enhancement, while the other focuses on order processing efficiency, particularly for bulk orders. The choice between them will hinge entirely on a merchant's specific business needs and the types of customers they serve.

Our Verdict
The choice between AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and MultiVariants ‑ Bulk Order depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If the primary goal is to improve the user experience and streamline the checkout process through an enhanced cart interface, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is the better option. Its higher number of reviews suggests a more mature product and broader appeal. On the other hand, if the business caters to B2B clients or frequently deals with bulk orders, MultiVariants ‑ Bulk Order is the more suitable choice.
For a standard e-commerce store focusing on individual customers, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is generally more useful for increasing sales through better UX. Conversely, for wholesale or business-oriented shops with large orders, MultiVariants ‑ Bulk Order will deliver more practical improvements.
Common Questions
Which app is better for improving conversion rates?
AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is likely more effective at improving conversion rates for standard e-commerce stores by enhancing the cart user experience. MultiVariants - Bulk Order focuses on order efficiency, so its direct impact on individual sales conversions is less apparent.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Given the nature of its functionality (a slide-out cart), AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer likely has a simpler setup process. MultiVariants ‑ Bulk Order, dealing with order management and variant complexities, will probably involve a steeper learning curve.
If I need both UX improvements and bulk order support, should I get both apps?
Potentially, yes. Since they address different needs, using both apps concurrently could provide a comprehensive solution. However, consider the cost and potential for conflicts between the apps. Look for integrations or alternative apps that may offer a combination of features if possible.
Are there any compatibility issues I should be aware of?
Without specific details of each app, it's difficult to say for sure. However, both apps modify the checkout process, so potential conflicts with other checkout-related apps are possible. Thorough testing is recommended before deploying either app in a live environment.
Which app will have a bigger impact on my average order value?
While AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer could indirectly increase average order value by improving the user experience and encouraging customers to add more items to their cart, MultiVariants ‑ Bulk Order has a more direct potential to increase AOV as it simplifies the process of ordering multiple products at once.
