AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer vs Checkout Links by Edi&Pfor Shopify (2026)
AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and Checkout Links by Edi&P both aim to improve the checkout experience on Shopify, but they approach the problem from drastically different angles. AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer likely focuses on streamlining the on-site cart and checkout flow with features like a slide-out cart. Checkout Links by Edi&P, on the other hand, empowers merchants to create trackable checkout links for use across multiple channels (email, SMS, social media). This allows merchants to bypass the traditional website navigation and take customers directly to a pre-filled cart or checkout page. While both apps have perfect 5/5 ratings, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer boasts significantly more reviews (489 vs. 23), indicating wider adoption and potentially a longer track record. Checkout Links by Edi&P shines by offering features like A/B testing for discount links, one-click reorder links, pre-checkout landing pages, and analytics - functionalities completely absent from the description of AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer. Therefore, Checkout Links by Edi&P is oriented towards merchants focused on omnichannel marketing and customer retention, while AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is optimized for improving the user experience within the store itself.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with optimizing their existing website's user experience and checkout flow, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer might be a suitable option, especially considering its higher number of reviews. However, for merchants seeking to leverage omnichannel marketing strategies, improve customer retention through reorders, and gain detailed analytics on their marketing campaigns, Checkout Links by Edi&P provides a much more comprehensive solution. Its features cater to a proactive marketing approach, allowing businesses to drive sales and engagement across various channels. Ultimately, Checkout Links by Edi&P is the more powerful option for merchants aiming to actively grow their customer base and increase sales through strategic marketing initiatives.
The lower number of reviews for Checkout Links by Edi&P might simply reflect a newer app or a more niche audience. Merchants should carefully consider their business needs and marketing goals to determine which app aligns better with their strategy.
