Both AMP Back in Stock | PreOrder and Preorder, Back In Stock - STOQ are strong contenders for Shopify merchants looking to recapture sales lost due to out-of-stock items and capitalize on product anticipation. AMP Back in Stock emphasizes a straightforward approach to restock notifications and preorders, focusing on ease of customization and broad theme compatibility. Our Verdict
If you are a smaller merchant, or you just need simple Preorder and Restock email functionality, AMP Back in Stock might be the easier choice to start with, due to its focus on simple setup and customization for general themes. However, for larger businesses needing advanced features like B2B support, partial payments, Klaviyo integrations, and multi-location support, STOQ is the clear winner. STOQ is the superior choice if you want flexibility with payment options.
Merchants should carefully consider their business requirements and technical expertise. While AMP Back in Stock emphasizes ease of use and quick implementation, STOQ offers a more robust and feature-rich experience, albeit with a potentially steeper learning curve. The higher rating and review count of STOQ suggest a more reliable and mature product, which could be a deciding factor for many merchants. Ultimately, the best app depends on the specific needs and scale of your Shopify store.
