Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime vs Bigblue ‑ All in one logisticsfor Shopify (2026)
Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime positions itself as a straightforward solution for merchants already leveraging Amazon's fulfillment network. Its core strength lies in enabling these merchants to extend their Amazon inventory and infrastructure to their Shopify stores, particularly through Buy with Prime for US-based customers. Key selling points are leveraging Amazon's established fulfillment capabilities and potentially boosting conversions with Prime benefits. However, it is limited to fulfillment in the US and UK and highly dependent on the merchant's existing Amazon setup. Bigblue, on the other hand, presents itself as a comprehensive, all-in-one logistics solution for customer-centric brands. It focuses on offering a branded and customizable fulfillment experience, from unique unboxings to branded tracking emails. This approach caters to merchants prioritizing brand control and a premium customer experience. Bigblue supports worldwide fulfillment and integrates operations for multiple sales channels. While Bigblue offers more customization and potentially a stronger brand experience, it requires merchants to entrust their entire fulfillment operation to Bigblue's infrastructure.

Our Verdict
For merchants already heavily invested in Amazon's infrastructure and seeking a relatively straightforward way to extend their reach to Shopify, particularly in the US, Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime is a compelling option. The lower overhead and potential to leverage existing Amazon inventory are significant advantages. However, for merchants prioritizing a fully branded and customizable fulfillment experience, especially those operating globally, Bigblue offers a more comprehensive solution despite the higher degree of integration required. Bigblue also suits companies that may wish to fulfill across multiple sales channels and/or brick-and-mortar retail stores. Ultimately, the choice depends on the merchant's existing logistics setup, branding strategy, and geographic focus.
