Amazon Importer Spreadr App vs AR: Google Shopping Feed Profor Shopify (2026)
The Amazon Importer Spreadr App and AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro serve fundamentally different purposes for Shopify merchants. The Amazon Importer app caters to merchants looking to leverage Amazon's existing product catalog, either through affiliate marketing (earning commissions) or dropshipping (direct fulfillment). It focuses on importing, syncing, and managing Amazon products within a Shopify store. AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro, on the other hand, assists merchants in promoting their own existing Shopify products on Google Shopping by creating and optimizing XML feeds for various regions, languages, and currencies. While both apps aim to boost sales, their approaches are drastically different. Amazon Importer emphasizes ease of importing and managing products from a single external source (Amazon) with built-in affiliate/dropshipping functionality. Its target user is someone looking for a quick and potentially hands-off way to generate income by leveraging Amazon's infrastructure. AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro targets established Shopify stores that have their own products and want to expand their reach through Google Shopping, requiring more active management and optimization of product feeds for various locales. It offers features that assist with Google Shopping best practices and requirements but does not offer product sourcing assistance.
