Amazon Connectr & FBA Sync vs Thrive Inventory Managementfor Shopify (2026)
Amazon Connectr & FBA Sync and Thrive Inventory Management both address inventory needs on Shopify, but target very different merchant types. Amazon Connectr focuses on multi-channel selling, specifically integrating Amazon Seller Central with Shopify. Its primary strength lies in streamlining operations for merchants who sell on both platforms, automating product import, inventory synchronization, and order fulfillment via Amazon FBA. Thrive Inventory Management, on the other hand, is a comprehensive inventory management system for Shopify stores, independent of other marketplaces. Thrive Inventory Management aims to replace spreadsheets and manual workarounds with robust features like demand forecasting, multi-channel syncing (Shopify accounts), automated purchase orders, and detailed reporting. It caters to merchants with complex inventory needs, requiring in-depth control and analysis. While Amazon Connectr automates Amazon-specific tasks, Thrive provides a broader set of inventory management tools, including AI-powered assistance and barcode scanner integration, designed to enhance overall business efficiency and informed decision-making within Shopify.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants heavily reliant on Amazon Seller Central and utilizing FBA, Amazon Connectr & FBA Sync is the clear choice. It automates essential tasks related to Amazon integration, saving time and streamlining operations. The lower rating, while a factor, is mitigated by the fact that it specifically solves a particular problem related to Amazon selling.
However, for Shopify businesses seeking a comprehensive inventory management system, irrespective of Amazon integration, Thrive Inventory Management is the superior option. Its higher rating, greater number of reviews, and extensive feature set provide a robust solution for managing complex inventory needs, generating reports, and optimizing stock levels. While it may require a more significant initial investment in time and learning, the long-term benefits of improved inventory control and decision-making are substantial.
