Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants selling digital goods, Alva Digital Downloads seems like the conceptually relevant option, focusing on secure delivery and fraud prevention. However, the complete lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating raise significant concerns. Merchants should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly test the app before committing to it. On the other hand, Appointment Booking App Apntly is the clear choice for businesses providing services requiring appointments. Its high rating, large number of positive reviews, and feature set focused on scheduling and team management make it a reliable option.
Given the zero reviews for Alva, it's virtually impossible to recommend it in good faith at this time. While its feature set *might* be useful for some, the lack of any user feedback suggests a high degree of risk. Apntly, based on its performance data, would be the recommended option, unless its appointment booking functionality is completely irrelevant to the merchant's needs.
