AI Chatbot Search vs Floatify: Social & CTA Buttonsfor Shopify (2026)
AI Chatbot Search and Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons, while both listed under "Search and navigation", address fundamentally different needs of a Shopify store. AI Chatbot Search aims to improve product discovery, presumably through an AI-powered chatbot that assists customers with their search queries. However, with a single review and a 1/5 rating, its current performance and user satisfaction are questionable. Floatify, on the other hand, focuses on improving customer engagement and conversions by providing readily accessible communication and action buttons, such as phone, chat, SMS, and WhatsApp live chat. Floatify boasts a significantly higher rating (5/5) based on a much larger sample size (68 reviews), indicating a higher level of satisfaction among its users. It prioritizes ease of contact and direct interaction, allowing customers to quickly reach out or take desired actions like adding to cart or returning to the top of the page. The key distinction lies in their purpose: AI Chatbot Search (hypothetically) enhances internal site search, while Floatify streamlines external customer communication and calls-to-action.

Our Verdict
Given the current data, Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons appears to be the more reliable and positively reviewed option for Shopify merchants in 2026. Its focus on improving customer communication and calls-to-action with readily available buttons makes it particularly suitable for stores seeking to increase conversions and customer engagement.
AI Chatbot Search, while potentially useful for stores with complex product catalogs, suffers from a lack of positive user feedback. Until its rating and review count improve significantly, it's difficult to recommend it over Floatify. Merchants interested in AI-powered search should thoroughly research alternative, more established options.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the description, Floatify is significantly easier to set up, claiming a 1-minute installation process with no coding required. There is no available set-up information for AI Chatbot Search.
Which app is better for increasing sales?
Floatify directly aims to increase sales by providing easy access to communication channels like WhatsApp live chat and add-to-cart buttons. AI Chatbot Search's impact on sales is indirect, dependent on improved search result relevance.

Floatify heavily emphasizes customer service by enabling quick and easy communication through call buttons, WhatsApp live chat, and other messaging platforms. AI Chatbot Search's customer service aspect, if any, is related to assisting with product searches, not direct support.
Which app is a safer choice, given the limited data?
Floatify is the safer choice due to its high rating (5/5) and significant number of positive reviews (68). AI Chatbot Search's very low rating (1/5) and single review raise concerns about its quality and reliability.
