Our Verdict
For merchants wanting a quick and straightforward affiliate program focused on direct sales through referral links and coupons, Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy is the stronger choice. Its automated features and post-purchase pop-ups provide an easy way to onboard affiliates and track their performance.
However, if a merchant's primary goal is to cultivate a loyal brand ambassador community that generates UGC and drives brand awareness through engaging social campaigns, Roster: Ambassador Marketing is the better fit. While it might require more effort in campaign management and ambassador communication, the long-term benefits of a strong brand community can be significant. The higher review count of ReferrLy, despite both having 5-star ratings, provides more confidence in the stability and widespread utility of the platform. If starting from scratch, ReferrLy would be less risk.
