AE: Order Editing & Upsell vs Yagi Address Edit Helperfor Shopify (2026)
AE: Order Editing & Upsell and Yagi Address Edit Helper both aim to reduce support tickets and improve the post-purchase experience by enabling customers to edit their orders. However, they differ significantly in their scope and target audience. Yagi Address Edit Helper focuses solely on address updates, providing a simple and straightforward solution for merchants who primarily need to address (pun intended!) shipping address errors. AE: Order Editing & Upsell, on the other hand, offers a more comprehensive suite of features, including item editing, cancellations, and post-purchase upsells. AE: Order Editing & Upsell is geared towards merchants looking for a more robust and feature-rich order editing solution, including increasing average order value (AOV). Its integration with Shopify Flow also positions it as a strong choice for merchants who are already using automation within their store. While Yagi Address Edit Helper targets smaller merchants with the simpler need to only address the shipping address changes.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing simplicity and focusing solely on enabling customers to edit their shipping addresses, Yagi Address Edit Helper is the more streamlined and cost-effective solution. Its limited feature set ensures ease of use and a quick setup. However, for merchants seeking a more comprehensive solution that encompasses item editing, cancellations, address validation, post-purchase upsells, and integration with Shopify Flow, AE: Order Editing & Upsell is the superior choice. The higher number of reviews also suggests a broader user base and more established track record. Ultimately, the best choice depends on the specific needs and priorities of the merchant.
