Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving the post-purchase customer journey, reducing order cancellations, and increasing AOV through self-service order editing and upsells, AE: Order Editing & Upsell is the clear choice. Its Shopify Flow integration also allows for automation of these processes. The larger number of reviews suggests a more established user base and broader applicability.
However, if the priority is to generate professional and compliant invoices, packing slips, and other documents efficiently, then Shoptopus: Invoice Generator is more suitable. Its focus on ease of use and customizable templates, combined with its document-centric functionality, make it ideal for merchants who need a simple and effective solution for document creation. The lower review count might indicate a newer app, but doesn't necessarily reflect on its quality for its specific function.
