Addly • AI Bundles & Upsells vs Loop Subscriptions Appfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, both Addly • AI Bundles & Upsells and Loop Subscriptions App offer product bundling capabilities for Shopify merchants, but they cater to distinctly different needs. Addly focuses on increasing average order value (AOV) through a variety of upselling and cross-selling techniques, including AI-powered recommendations, volume discounts, and bundle discounts. It aims to provide a flexible platform for merchants seeking to maximize immediate sales. Loop Subscriptions App, on the other hand, prioritizes building long-term customer relationships through subscription models. The app provides features such as automated workflows, cancellation flows, and customer portal management, targeting merchants seeking recurring revenue streams. The key distinction lies in their core purpose: Addly is for boosting immediate sales through strategic upselling, while Loop Subscriptions App is for building long-term, recurring revenue through subscription management. Addly is more broadly applicable to most e-commerce merchants, while Loop Subscriptions App specifically addresses the needs of subscription-based businesses or those wanting to add subscription options.
