Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to integrate social media marketing directly into their Shopify store and leverage the power of Instagram for sales and social proof, Add Instagram Feed ‑ Tagembed is the clear choice. Its shoppable feeds and easy setup make it an attractive option for those looking to boost conversions and engagement through user-generated content. However, the low review count suggests it might be a newer or less established app compared to Rubik.
On the other hand, Rubik Variant Images & Swatch is the ideal solution for stores with complex product variations. If managing multiple variant images and improving the product page experience to reduce returns is a priority, Rubik offers a specialized set of features including variant image swatches and AI powered product image assignment. The higher review count also suggests a more mature and widely adopted app.
