8returns ‑ Returns portal vs Pango Returns & Shippingfor Shopify (2026)
Both 8returns - Returns portal and Pango Returns & Shipping aim to simplify returns and exchanges for Shopify merchants in 2026. However, they approach this goal from different angles and target slightly different merchant profiles. 8returns positions itself as an 'all-in-one returns platform' focused on automating and customizing the returns process with a strong emphasis on brand identity and customer loyalty through a self-serve portal. It offers detailed control over return rules and provides analytics to reduce return rates. Pango Returns & Shipping, on the other hand, presents a broader 'all-in-one platform' extending beyond returns to encompass shipping and tracking, with a heavy emphasis on continuous experimentation, AI-powered automation, and optimizing the entire customer journey from shipping to returns.

Our Verdict
Based on the available information, 8returns - Returns portal is the safer bet for merchants prioritizing a polished, branded returns experience with automated workflows and insightful analytics to reduce return rates. Its positive reviews and established rating indicate customer satisfaction. It's ideal for merchants who want control over their return policy and customer-facing portal.
Pango Returns & Shipping offers a more ambitious, all-encompassing solution that leverages AI for automation and optimization across the entire customer journey. However, the lack of reviews and a zero rating make it a riskier choice. It could be a great fit for tech-savvy merchants comfortable with experimentation and who need comprehensive shipping and tracking management in addition to returns. Before committing, merchants should prioritize testing and onboarding with the Pango team to address any potential issues due to the new platform.
