17TRACK Order Tracking vs EZLabel: Australia Post Shipfor Shopify (2026)
17TRACK Order Tracking and EZLabel: Australia Post Ship cater to vastly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. 17TRACK is a comprehensive order tracking and return management solution designed to reduce 'Where Is My Order' (WISMO) inquiries and enhance the post-purchase customer experience. It aims to build trust, reduce support costs, and drive sales through features like branded tracking pages, automated notifications, and a self-service returns portal. EZLabel, on the other hand, focuses on streamlining the shipping label creation process for merchants using Australia Post MyPost Business. EZLabel's strength lies in its simplicity and focus on efficiency for Australian merchants using Australia Post. It drastically reduces the time required to print shipping labels, fulfil orders, and obtain tracking information. Unlike 17TRACK, it lacks broad order tracking and customer communication features; instead, it prioritizes automation in the initial shipping process. Therefore, the choice between the two apps heavily depends on the merchant's primary pain point: managing post-purchase customer communication and returns (17TRACK) or automating Australia Post shipping label creation (EZLabel).

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily concerned with managing the post-purchase customer experience, reducing WISMO inquiries, and streamlining returns, 17TRACK Order Tracking is the superior choice. Its comprehensive feature set addresses these pain points directly and offers valuable tools like branded tracking pages and automated notifications. The dropshipping mode also makes it an excellent option for stores using that fulfillment model.
However, for Australian merchants who exclusively use Australia Post MyPost Business and are seeking a solution to automate and simplify shipping label creation, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is the clear winner. Its streamlined two-click process saves significant time and effort, allowing merchants to focus on other aspects of their business. If Australia Post is your shipping provider, then EZLabel is specifically built for you.
Common Questions
Which app is better for dropshipping?
17TRACK is better for dropshipping because it offers a one-click feature to hide all China origin information, which is crucial for protecting your brand.
Can EZLabel track shipments outside of Australia?
EZLabel supports international shipping via Australia Post, but its primary function is to simplify label creation and fulfillment within the Australia Post system. Its tracking capabilities would be tied to Australia Post's international tracking.
Which app is easier to use?
EZLabel is likely easier to use because it focuses on a single task: simplifying Australia Post shipping label creation. 17TRACK offers a broader range of features which means its set-up and maintenance will be more involved.
Does 17TRACK integrate with Australia Post?
While 17TRACK likely supports tracking Australia Post shipments as part of its global tracking network, it doesn't offer the direct label creation integration that EZLabel provides. It focuses more on the tracking process after a tracking number is available.
If I want to reduce customer support inquiries about order status, which app should I choose?
17TRACK is the better choice. Its branded tracking pages, estimated delivery dates (EDD), and automated email notifications proactively keep customers informed about their order's status, significantly reducing WISMO inquiries.
