TryOnify: Try Before You Buy vs White‑labeled BNPL Widgetsfor Shopify (2026)
TryOnify: Try Before You Buy and White‑labeled BNPL Widgets both address payment flexibility on Shopify, but cater to different strategies and risk profiles. TryOnify focuses on a 'Try Now, Pay Later' model, deferring payments during a free trial period. Its key strength lies in acquiring new customers sustainably by removing immediate payment barriers. The app positions itself as a user-friendly solution with automatic payment collection and credit card authorization, appealing to merchants prioritizing ease of use and conversion rate optimization by reducing cart abandonment. White‑labeled BNPL Widgets, on the other hand, provides a platform for merchants to integrate *their own* BNPL solutions. Its primary benefit is a fully customizable user experience with dynamic messaging throughout the customer journey. This app is designed for larger merchants or payment providers who want to offer a branded financing experience and actively promote high-ticket financing. While TryOnify aims for broad appeal by simplifying the trial process, White‑labeled BNPL Widgets targets merchants requiring more control over their BNPL offering and customer interactions.
