TryOnify: Try Before You Buy vs WeGetFinancing Messagingfor Shopify (2026)
Both TryOnify: Try Before You Buy and WeGetFinancing Messaging aim to improve conversion rates on Shopify stores by addressing payment-related concerns. However, they approach this goal from fundamentally different angles. TryOnify offers a "Try Now, Pay Later" model, deferring payments during a free trial period to encourage purchases and reduce cart abandonment related to immediate financial commitment. This appeals to customers hesitant to pay upfront, offering a risk-free trial experience. In contrast, WeGetFinancing Messaging focuses on providing instant credit options from multiple lenders, displaying estimated monthly payments on product pages using their Purchase Power Estimator. This approach caters to customers who may need financing to afford a purchase, making it easier for them to understand their payment options and increasing their purchasing power.

Our Verdict
TryOnify is best suited for merchants selling products where a trial period is feasible and valuable to the customer, reducing the perceived risk of purchase. It's ideal for stores aiming to convert hesitant customers who are concerned about immediate payment. WeGetFinancing Messaging, on the other hand, is more appropriate for merchants selling higher-priced items or targeting customers who commonly rely on financing options to make purchases. It provides a convenient way for customers to understand their financing options upfront, increasing the likelihood of a sale. Given the very small number of reviews for both, merchants should investigate both apps further and ideally conduct their own trials to assess their performance within their specific business context.
